Chartered Physiotherapists are healthcare professionals that help you to optimise your quality of life. Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists use a variety of skills including therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, education and advice to help reduce symptoms such as pain, stiffness and instability and improve mobility, strength, movement ability and overall function, allowing you to get back to the sports, hobbies and activities you love.
At MD Performance & Therapy we value the importance of taking the time to listen to your story in order to gain a complete understanding of your problem and how it is affecting you. Accordingly, initial assessments are 60 minutes in duration. Follow-up appointments are typically 40 minutes long, but 60-minute follow-up appointments can be arranged if required.

In Ireland the title of “Physiotherapist” is a legally protected title, meaning that only those with recognised qualifications who are also members of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (MISCP) can use the title “Physiotherapist”.
Practicing physiotherapists in Ireland must also registered with CORU, the regulator for health and social care professionals. CORU serves to protect the public and promote greater patient safety by promoting high standards of professional conduct, education, training and competence through statutory registration.
By choosing a Chartered Physiotherapist you are ensuring that you will be under the care of an appropriately qualified healthcare professional who meets the high standards illustrated above.
When searching for a physiotherapist be sure check for the initials MISCP and CORU after their name.
